I can help with something as little as sending text messages on your phone, to more complex things like having the photos you take from your phone automatically appear on your computer.
If you have a problem or need help with anything. I can solve it. If it is something I do not know the answer to, I guarantee I can figure it out.
Text me, or if you hate texts, call me and let’s make a plan for me to help you out. I can send you a step by step video, or I can come to your home and teach you how to do it.
You are not alone
Do you feel frustrated or wish the world would stop the unrealistic expectation to just have the knowledge to transition to this ‘digital age’?
Do you need help, but getting help from your daughter or family member feels like an inconvenience to them? Maybe they go too fast, or are frustrated that you’re asking for help about the same thing you needed help with last week.
I am a very patient person, I love helping and no matter if it is something I am showing you how to do for the first time, or the 20th time, I am happy to help. I am happy to be the person that comes to do something for you that you have no desire to learn or do on your own.
Social Security Website
The recent changes to the social security website are frustrating and upsetting.
I have been through the 4 hour wait time on the phone, just to be told I have to call back in two weeks and do it all over again.
I have been told I need to contact a local office to schedule an in person appointment. I have dealt with trying to call a local office that does not accept calls or just will not answer the phone. I have shown up in person then told it must be done online after waiting in the lobby half of the day.
These are all personal experiences. Having technology knowledge and skills didn’t make it any less frustrating.
Fortunately with my digital knowledge I was able to figure out, but thinking about someone that would have to go through this without computer or website knowledge makes me want to be the person to show up and help.
I can help set up the account, I can help you download any forms you need, I can help you upload things or even teach you how to do all of this from your phone if you do not have a computer.
I can also bring my own computer over and go through all of this with you step by step. If you need me every time you have to go through this process, I can do that too.
No part of what I do is limited to the one time I come over. This is a very overwhelming task, and if all you can handle is a 2 hour session and want to split it up over a couple weeks, we can do that. If you call me, I will answer the phone and help make a plan to solve your problem.
It’s nice to have someone in your corner, and I will be that person for you.
